Stamford Golf Club offers a unique, picturesque and friendly golf experience, boasting 18 holes structured through moorland and parkland terrain. Our excellent golf course is an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all abilities in which to enjoy relaxing or competitive golf, as either a member or a visitor with a society or friend.

Stamford Golf Club rests within the foothills of the Pennines and has an ideal location, bordering Stalybridge, Ashton Under Lyne and Mossley. We are just 12 miles from Manchester city centre and are within close proximity of Yorkshire and Derbyshire.

The course is under the management of Green Keeper John Peirrepoint and his team who maintain the course to the highest level; it is  beautifully presented and maintained. The course has become one of the most desirable locations in the area, introducing many challenges, whilst providing a beautiful backdrop for a pleasant walk.

Our clubhouse is home to our cosy 19th hole bar where members and visitors can enjoy a refreshing drink or snack after playing golf. Stewardess Kirsty and partner Chef Dane give a warm welcome to anyone wishing to visit the Clubhouse.
